The Capitole Hotel has an attractive traditional façade, in keeping with the other, typical Genevese buildings in the immediate area. The small lobby is appointed in a surprisingly modern style, offering a contrast to the building's exterior. The 32 cosy guestrooms are traditionally decorated with floral patterned soft furnishings and pastel coloured carpets and curtains. The rooms are also non-smoking and equipped with soundproof windows, spacious wardrobe and work desk. All are clean and well maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms. There’s no restaurant, but the Art Deco "Los Angeles" bar/café is situated just off the lobby. The hotel also offers an extensive Buffet Breakfast every morning, which comprises a variety of items, including various cold cuts from sausages to ham and salmon, different kinds of cheese, many sorts of jam, and home cooked bread and pastry.
