Had booked for one night, later in the evening requested for an additional night, which was confirmed by the person in the front desk, next day morning no information given that the room is not available for the night. After our meeting in the morning when we return to the hotel at 11 am, the lady at the front desk says that we do not have the room for the night, but when we said that the person had confirmed availability, She had the hautiness to ask her that did the person at the front desk give us a confirmation slip for extending for the additional night, and we could not confront this since that person would come for duty only by 2 in the afternoon. It was very very arrogant behaviour of her that she even refused to give the keys to our room and asked us to wait till she finished her other work which she took quite some time. This kind of behaviour is totally unacceptable in international hotels. We immediately checked out, with resolve never to step foot in a BEST WESTERN HOTEL AGAIN.

Very convenient location, pleasant staff, given map & public transport ticket on arrival, free WiFi but no air conditioning & streets outside noisy at night.
Top Tip
If arriving by air, pick up a free public transport to city centre ticket from machine in baggage hall at Geneva Airport

We had a most enjoyable weeks visit to Geneva and the hotel was good and staff excellent and very helpful well done to them all. We will book again on our future trips to Geneva.

The hotel is only minutes from the railway station which in turn connects direct with the airport. Plenty of good places to eat. We used one opposite the main entrance of the hotel. Lots to do and see. We included a days visit to the Chamonixe and also a climb up the tower of the Cathedral.

Very clean well maintained hotel within easy reach of all ameneties. There is a lap dancing strip club next door but don't let this put you off, we never saw anyone go in or come out and heard nothing at all.

The British bar is home from home of course but friendly and comfortable however the smoke is awful.
The Brassiere bar across from the hotel is packed lively and good fun.
Manalas round the corner serves excellent mexican food.
Get the train to Lausanne for day in another great swiss place, full of shops or go to Montreux, very beautiful, peaceful place further round the lake.
The train service is second to none and worth the rather expensive tickets.
Geneva is expensive but not so bad it spoils your holiday.
Walking along the lakeside is just gorgeous and the streets of Geneva are clean and bustling with a multi cultural people, who are friendly and welcoming.

Hotel Strasbourg has a good location near Cornavin station and quite adequate facilities for a short stay. Staff friendly and speak several languages and has to be rated as good value for money

CONVIENTLY SITUATED NEAR THE STATION. ROOM VERY SMALL AND NO RESIDENTS LOUNGE. BREAKFAST WAS ADEQUATE BUT NO MORE. THE STAFF JUST COULD NOT MANAGE A SMILE ALTHOUGH POLITE. WOULB ONLY RECCOMEND HOTEL TO THOSE WHO WOULD ONLY USE AS A BASE. A BIT CLAUSTRAPHOBIC.

The location is ok, but there is no bar / room service and they're funny about you taking any food to your room. The twin room has both beds pushed together with no space to move them, so you'd better be comfortable with your companion.
