Originally built in 1865 in the Italian-Renaissance style and extensively renovated over 2005/2006, the De La Paix Hotel is a traditional lakeside property that blends classical touches with a unique contemporary style. The main salon retains its old fashioned grandeur, with marble columns, elaborate Corinthian capitals and balustraded galleries, all dominated by a massive crystal chandelier. The interior design is decidedly contemporary yet remains in keeping with the building’s traditional charm.
