The Manotel Eidelweiss Hotel is housed in an 8-storey, terraced building with an unremarkable modern exterior that belies the Swiss chalet-style décor inside. This is immediately apparent in the lobby, with its pine walls and ceilings, which are complemented by finely crafted armchairs grouped around the fireplace and the traditional costumes worn by staff. The 42 guestrooms are decorated in a similarly rustic style, with pine furniture. Being fairly spacious, they also have sitting areas and desk space. The en suite bathrooms, although small and plain, are neatly kept. The 2-storey galleried restaurant has long communal tables with benches and is adorned with cow bells and Alpine scenes painted on the walls. It serves typical Swiss food, like fondue and raclette. Evening entertainment includes the traditional sounds of the alphorn and yodelling.
