Nestled in Geneva’s Latin Quarter, La Cour Des Augustins hotel provides a peaceful urban refuge behind its mid-19th century façade and displays a strong sense of contemporary design. The 40 guestrooms combine chic, up-to-date style with traditional comfort. They are all impeccably maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms. Breakfast is available from 06.30 to 11.00 on Monday through Friday and from 07.30 to 11.00 on Saturday and Sunday. Guests appreciate the rich, varied buffet, which includes fruit juices, Viennese pastries, rolls cheeses, delicatessen meats, fresh fruits, cereals and yoghurts – plus other choices, such as eggs and bacon. It’s also possible to dine outside on the terrace.
The hotel permanently hosts an important private collection of African art, with more than 1000 pieces spread throughout the property. The paintings exhibited in the common areas and certain rooms were created by the Swiss artist Stéphane Ducret. These may be purchased in the hotel’s boutique, which is filled with contemporary interior design ideas, from furniture and lighting.
